Sea Crest is a gated oceanfront community consisting of 70 lots. It is located just north of the Inn at Otter Crest, between Depoe Bay and Newport. The development includes a clubhouse, abundant common areas, underground utilities, and professional management. There is a homeowner’s association, with a governing board, an architectural design committee, CC&R’s, and Bylaws. The CC& R’s require homes to be at least 1500 square feet in size, and the design must be approved by the Architectural Committee. At the present time the homeowner fees are $110 per month. The property taxes are relatively low at $11 per thousand of the assessed value. The community shares their water and sewer system with the Inn at Otter Crest. The ocean front consists of a basalt cliff, and there are two sand beaches within walking distance - Otter Crest Beach and Beverly Beach State Park. With Cape Foulweather to the north, the area is somewhat protected from strong winds.
