Devil's Punchbowl State Natural Area
A short walk from Sea Crest will bring you to this dramatic natural feature.
Two zones of fractured rock, which were eroded by wave action, formed sea caves which intersected as they eroded back. Ultimately, the area of intersection became such a large cave that the roof became unsupported and collapsed. Subsequent wave erosion has enlarged that hole which is now called Devil's Punchbowl.
The state day use park features hiking, picnicking and beach access as well as numerous viewpoints.
